You can readily speed up the things a bit by taking him to an event, at which your parents will be present. It can be a party or even a wedding. Consider living together with him first. This is just like a dress rehearsal for the real thing. It is much easier for a man to ask you to live with him. You can even suggest it yourself. He will certainly want to find out what it feels like to share one place and will make him more confident and willing to propose. You will also have the opportunity to show your boyfriend you are the right person for him.

Once you move in together, remember to keep the romantic aspect of your relationship. Go out and have fun together. Surprise him with special dinners and presents. Avoid fighting over the laundry, the dish washing and the remote control. Make sure you remain the fun and caring person he has fallen in love with and he will propose sooner than you think.
