You can work on numeracy together with your child also. You should be able to find books with fun math problems that require more logical thinking and that are interesting to children. Any mystery solving games will also help your youngster improve their numeracy skills.

You should encourage your child to do well in every subject, but if they have a particular interest in a specific discipline you should definitely consider signing them up for a more challenging course. In addition, if your youngster loves science, you should not push them to do better in history just because this is an important discipline.
