With so many new cheap e cigarette devices on the market many people are asking themselves, which electronic cigarette should I buy? The answer to that question may depend on what you smoke now and what your goal is by switching to an e cig instead of tobacco, but in general here is the criteria of what most people should look for when shopping for a high end or a cheap e cigarette. If the one you have chosen meets the following list of criteria, then you will probably be very happy with your switch.

You will want a simple design. Try to stick to a device that has no more than 2 components because if there are 3 or more it will take time to assemble. I am not referring to the one-time assembly required when you receive your kit, but the frequent frustration you will have of assembling and disassembling the device each time you need a refill. You will want a simple and easy one-step cartridge replacement where you can just unscrew the battery from the old cartridge and easily screw the new one on. Something almost as easy as opening a package of tobacco cigarettes and not one where you will be required to take many painstaking steps to replace a cartridge or to disassemble a mouthpiece and then screw several small pieces back together.

You will want an atomizer that comes integrated into some kind of totally disposable cartridge that includes the nicotine pad and is replaced each time you need a new cartridge. You will not want a complicated built-in atomizing device that is not ever disposed off because it will eventually get clogged and at the least will lose its original strong and powerful, and fresh, performance. You do not want to mess with the nicotine pad or have to touch it or repair it because it leaks. Get one that is built-in, not one that has to be inserted each time and is a messy operation.

So, which electronic cigarette should I buy?

I believe you should stick to ones like Green Smoke because they also look and feel like a regular cigarette. A cheap e cigarette may be plastic feeling and may not satisfy your need to hold something in your fingers as you always have. Get one with a natural cigarette texture that mimics the real thing as much as possible. You do not normally smoke a screwdriver or a pen…so consider that when selecting your tobacco replacement device.

You will also want a devise that does not reuse the same mouthpiece for ever. The mouthpiece on some devices may become stale and filled with bacteria, so get a design that allows for an automatic change when you need a refill and that way you stay fresh.
