Top 5 Brand Laptops for 2011
It’s 2011 and it’s about time that you replaced that aging laptop of yours. It’s a fact; laptops have a maximum usability of 2-3 years of regular usage. After that it begins to breakdown. If you’re having a hard time choosing the best brands in laptops here’s the top 5 brand laptops of 2011.
Apple has been the producer of the best devices ever. Their latest top of the line laptop is the MacBook Pro Spring. It features a core i7 with 2.66 Ghz. That’s all good since it has nearly 4GB RAM and also a 500 GB of hard drive perfect for downloading videos. Priced at $2,049.33 to $2,200.00, it brings down its rating a bit but if you want the best, go for this one. This laptop gets a rating of 8/10.
Next is the Toshiba Portege R705-P35. Almost the same features as above, (except the core i7 of course), however the price is just $700 to $1,000 which gives it a rating of 8/10.
The HP Envy 17 has in intel core i5 compared to Apple’s i7 but its ram is upgradable to 6 GB and with an HDD of 640 GB it’s more than a keeper! 9/10
Next is the Samsung QX410-J01. Although it’s motherboard is the same as the HP Envy, the Ghz isn’t the same or varies a lot. However it can be upgraded to 8 GB ram and with a price range average of $800 it nets a score of 7/10.
Finally there’s the Dell XPS 15. Still with an Intel Core i5, it’s memory though is less than the Samsung QX410-J01. Still it’s 2.4 GHz and quad-core to boot. HDD of 500 GB is decent enough for it’s price range of $800. Scores 8/10.
Choosing laptops is a bit of a gamble. There’s a big chance that it will be outdated in just a year at the rate of the digital age is expanding.
