Perfectionism has its pro’s and con’s. Too much of it will cause a lot of unnecessary stress in your life. Learn to appreciate that good is good enough. It will make you realize the value of everything, even the littlest things.

Slow down.
Fast paced life drags you down. In as much as it leads to depression and stress, it disrupts your chance to enjoy life. Being caught up in your busy day to day activities make you unconsciously forget about your family as well as doing things you love.

Be with the optimistic.
Surround yourself with positive people. Pessimistic friends and co-workers can drain much of your energy. Try to hang out with them less and you will notice how your own levels of optimism will shift.

Be good to yourself.
Being generous is a key to keeping your heart young. Hence, continuous kindness and goodness all starts from self love. Take care of your needs as much as you take care of others.

Take breaks.
Make it a habit to spend some time alone weekly to let your mind float away, your stress dissolve in the air and your heart open to the miracles of the world. Enjoy your time in silence and solitude. Meditation gives you chance to reflect on the things you did for the past days.

Love. And do what you love.
Be in love and be loved.  Love opens our hearts and makes us bloom all year round. More to that, follow your passion. Doing what you really love will help you live a more fulfilling life. It will help you fight stress and be happy in general.

Learn the art of self expression.
Make art an outlet for your feelings. Our creativity is born in our heart and if we suppress any spark of it then we also block our hearts from happiness. Whether you engage in painting, writing, or singing, express whatever is born in your heart to keep your heart young and stress free.

See life in a child’s perspective.
Children are honest, joyful, energetic, and has a full of love for the entire world. They are not scared of anything. They are absolutely adorable. Play with them, spend as much time with them as possible and learn from them.

Live a meaningful life.
Meaningless life leads to an empty heart and an empty heart has no way of staying healthy and young. Find the meaning of your life; live a meaningful life that fills your heart. Be happy.
